XL Computers - Company Information

The original XL Computer was sold in Galway in 1992, and if it is you that has it let us know, and we'll buy it back from you, as I'm sure it is now a Collectors item (It was based on the 8086 Processor, with an option also to buy a system based on the 80286 Processor, and if you were feeling rich, I think you could get the hi-end 80386 based PC at the time!), but boy have times changed. Nonetheless XL have kept pace with the changes and evolved the business to continue to provide the latest systems available (as we did then, except that nowadays the latest sytems are really cool and hi-tech :) ).

However from these humble beginnings we've seen various peaks and troughs in our business, and have managed to adopt our business profile to fit the changing conditions. Although we are still a relatively small company, we have moved more into the space of providing web based solutions, including WebSites, secure remote office user access etc. So nowadays servicing computers is only a small part of our overall business.
